Micromax Canvas Xpress (A99) smartphone launched at Rs 6,999

Micromax has Canvas Xpress at Rs 6,999, expanding its Canvas lineup of smartphones. The phone will be available exclusively on e-commerce marketplace Flipkart, starting December 8. The phone will be available in electric blue and classy silver colour variants. It sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854p) IPS display. Powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MTK6582V/X quad core processor and 1GB RAM, the phone comes with 8GB internal storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards of up to 32GB. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
